Wherein Our Intrepid Journalists Make New Friends Overseas: The Books & Braun Germany Premiere

by Wellington Thornhill Books Esq. on June 26, 2012

As we reported from the Ministry ætherblog, Phoenix Rising: A Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences Novel (released under the title, Books & Braun: The Sign of the Phoenix) has been released in Germany. Breaking barriers of language, distance, and improper references, our intrepid journalists Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris appear on the first-ever joint æthercast between the German steampunk blogs The Daily Steampunk and Clockworker. Marcus, Alex, and Johanna talk with our journalists about the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences, the international appeal of steampunk, and why Germans make such wonderful villains in books and film.

Do not worry if you have a difficulty with the introduction. After roughly thirty seconds (or so) of the Kaiser’s tongue, the æthercast switches to the Queen English. Do enjoy this lovely ninety-minute romp into international geekery.
