You Liked Us Competition

Well the news is out, and now we can make the official announcement…

We just signed a contract with Ace books for the next two books of the Ministry, and we delivered the first draft of the third book Dawn’s Early Light to our editor yesterday. We’re very excited to be working with Danielle Stockley at Ace, and looking forward to bringing the continuing adventures of Eliza and Wellington to readers everywhere. Publications date will be announced later, and we have a few other irons in the fire, that we hope to announce soon.

Update: Competition won by Bill Bowman. More competitions will be happening, and announced first on the Ministry Facebook page. So don’t forget to Like the page and keep even more up to date!

  1. i hope it’s open to international ^^ i would love to win ( and even if i’ve become a big fan… a don’t have facebook^^;;)

what i love in the ministry: the people^^, the mysteries ( and the bickering between eliza et wellington)

  2. Curious, no longer with Harper/Voyager? Still excited for more books and cannot wait to see O.S.M. canon

  3. I can’t wait to read more of this world, so many characters to enjoy. Except for Agent Hill. I mean, screw that guy 😛

  4. Enjoyed Phoenix, looking forward to finally diving into Janus, and will definitely be purchasing Dawn when it arrives. Glad to hear the good news!

  5. I love how The M.O.P.O is such an accessible series. (And Tee and Pip such awesome advocates for authors to be people too.) I geek out every time I can interact with the world of The Ministry.

  6. I didn’t even know there was a sequel available until tonight! I’m going to have to get my hands on it ASAP! I loved the “Phoenix Rising,” so I’m sure I’ll love “The Janus Affair”! (And if I won, that would be so cool!)

  7. What I love about the ministry? The leading duo! I love Eliza and Wellington the most, their relationship from the very start is both amusing and enjoyable.

  8. This is most exciting news. Congratulations you two. I’m happy to help promote, but I’d take a set of hardcover books too if they happened to come my way.

  9. If I win I will take your lovely signed books and have them as a splendid door prize for our City of London Steampunk Gala, in January!

  10. Oh, excellent! Can’t wait for more!
I’m one of those greedy readers who can’t understand why you insist of having a life, relationships, time to eat, etc, when you could be writing for me. I really, really do try to make these books last and not read them in one gluttonous sitting, but I haven’t been very successful so far. (They do make nice pre/post-semester treats.) Thanks for all your hard work.

  11. SO THRILLED to hear there will be more adventures with Mr. Books and Ms. Braun. Will be eagerly awaiting news of when i can get my grubby little mausy paws on the next two! (not that i’m eager for more or anything ::grin::)

  12. I absolutely loved Phoenix Rising, and am about to start The Janus Affair. I love how utterly inapporpirate Eliza is with Welly, and how he never stoops… he merely hands her another cup of tea and shakes his head.

  13. Well, it’s great that we who have liked the Ministry can say so! (Right, folks? Right? I can’t HEAR you…)
Seriously, MoPO is a terrific series, and I’m eager to see what havoc Books and Braun can wreak on our side of the Atlantic. It will certainly not be subtle. Nor would we have it any other way.

  14. Thanks for this marvelous opportunity—not only to procure valued hardcovers of delightful books (and they are), but also to learn what a “koozie” might be (and whether my wife would be jealous of her). Cheers!

  15. Ooo! Steampunk goodness! Now, however, there seems to be a defect with the “follow” entry. The Twitter username entered there is @bookandbraun Notice the missing S. But I follow anyway. 😀
