Tales from the Archives – One

The Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences has many forgotten stories in its Archives. Stories of madcap adventures in all corners of the Empire, dark doings in hidden places, and mysterious devices and artifacts that the everyday citizen should never become aware of for fear it would quite undo their minds.

Archivist to the Ministry, Wellington Thornhill Books and Eliza D Braun (recently and unwillingly reassigned to the Archives) have selected some cases they feel the public is ready for.

In this episode:

The Evil that befell Sampson…

It is revealed just how Miss Braun ended up being exiled from her native country, New Zealand, and working for the Ministry in its London Offices. It’s a tale of nefarious doings, stalwart ladies, and the sound of clockwork.

Theme music for the Ministry composed and created by Alex White.

Don’t forget to pre-order the upcoming Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences novel, coming April 26th from all good online and bricks and mortar stores.

  1. I totally loved the first episode. Great story, great characters. Can’t wait to get my hands on the novel (I hope I can get it signed at BaltiCon 2011). I found you from the wonderful, funny promo on The Shrinking Man Project, Doc has the best taste! Please keep the stories coming.
