Tales from the Archives, Volume IV — One

TFTA_VolumeIV

The Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences has many forgotten stories in its Archives. Stories of madcap adventures in all corners of the Empire, dark doings in hidden places, and mysterious devices and artifacts that the everyday citizen should never become aware of for fear it would quite undo their minds.

In this episode:

Spiritus Sanctus — written by Alyson Grauer

1896

Emily Cassidy Tuttle, on word from Doctor Sound, arrived in the shadow of the Vatican to receive a mysterious parcel from a local contact. What should be a simple pass between agent and mule spirals deeper and deeper into a wild madness that Emily is not prepared to face.

  1. Really enjoyed this episode, but it left me wondering: Surely the Vatican has at least one order dedicated to securing and protecting holy (or unholy) relics. What are they doing?
